The tax return filing deadline is today.
There won’t be any penalties if you file it or pay before 28th February, however there will be interest to pay from 1st February at a rate of 2.75%.
If you are struggling to pay, HMRC may let you pay in instalments under a Time to Pay arrangement.
Please be vigilant for scammers at this time of year pretending to be from HMRC threatening court action or asking for bank details for rebates.
